"Comprehensive Weed Control for Lawns"
Our comprehensive weed control program is highly effective at eliminating weeds from your lawn, regardless of the grass type. Whether your property in Blue Ridge or the surrounding Georgia areas has cool-season fescue or warm-season bermudagrass or zoysia, our treatments are designed to protect your turf. We use both pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control solutions that are safe for all grass varieties, specifically targeting the weeds that threaten your lawn’s health.

"What Types of Weeds Does Our Treatment Target?"
Our weed control treatments are designed to target the most common weeds found in Northern Georgia, including crabgrass, annual bluegrass, clover, and bermudagrass weeds. We also tackle yellow nutsedge, a weed that resembles grass but is technically a sedge. If these persistent invaders have been causing trouble in your lawn, our herbicides will eliminate them effectively!

"When is the Best Time to Remove Weeds?
Our Weed Control Service Schedule"

Our comprehensive weed control program follows a seven-step process that begins between January and March and runs through November or December. We customize our treatments based on your lawn’s grass type to ensure maximum effectiveness. Below is our schedule for both warm-season and cool-season lawns:

Round 1 (January-March):
We apply both pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments to prevent future weeds and eliminate any already sprouted. Cool-season turf also receives slow-release granular fertilizer for a healthy start to the season.

Round 2 (March-April):
Our team applies another round of pre- and post-emergent weed control to both warm- and cool-season lawns. Cool-season lawns receive additional granular fertilizer.

Round 3 (April-June):
We focus on post-emergent weed control for both grass types. Warm-season lawns benefit from liquid fertilizer and chelated iron to support growth.

Round 4 (June-August):
More post-emergent weed control is applied to both turf types. Warm-season lawns also receive a slow-release granular fertilizer treatment.

Round 5 (August-October):
Post-emergent weed control is applied to both warm- and cool-season lawns. Cool-season lawns also get pre-emergent treatment if they aren’t being overseeded in the fall. Warm-season lawns receive their final application of granular fertilizer.

Round 6 (September-November):
We apply pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments to prevent future weed growth and eliminate any existing weeds. Cool-season lawns also receive a granular fertilizer application.

Round 7 (November-December):
All lawns receive post-emergent weed control to eliminate lingering weeds, plus a lime treatment to balance soil pH levels for the upcoming season.
